Gilberto A. Rodríguez Rivera has a B.A. in Drama and Modern Languages from the University of Puerto Rico. He started writing in 1994 while working as a production assistant at Telemundo’s soap opera division. In 1995 he studied screenwriting at UCLA. Besides Huey, Louie, Dewey and Three Girls in Pink, he has written the short films A Night in Hollywood and The Prodigal Son. Other works are Alhambra High (series pilot); the sitcom pilots B.C. & I. Advertising and Two by Four and the TV movies Desamores and The Two Faces of Janus and La fuga. He currently works as one the Artistic Directors of La Comedia Puertorriqueña.
Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Sandra Teres grew up between Puerto Rico and New York City where she attended the prestigious Neighborhood Playhouse, continuing her training and education at the Universities of Puerto Rico and Florida.
Sandra began her professional career at a very early age, having been born into one of Puerto Rico’s most respected and established theater families. She quickly captured some of the Company’s most coveted roles, including the leads in Proof, The Vagina Monologues, Cloud Tectonics, Actresses, Blood Wedding and Eurydice among many others. and most recently produced John Logan’s critically acclaimed Red and Nora Ephron’s smash hit Love, Lost and What I Wore.
She produced and starred in the feature film Huey, Dewey, Louie And Three Girls In Pink, a co- production between Argentina and Puerto Rico. She also acted and produced the TV movies La Fuga and A Night in Hollywood. She worked most recently as a Creative Assistant Director in the documentary San Juan, Beyond The Walls (San Juan, Mas allá de las Murallas) directed by Mariem Pérez Riera and is currently one of the Artistic Directors of La Comedia Puertorriqueña alongside her brother continuing the family’s legacy.
